Als er één band mij verrast heeft op de EO-Jongerendag in 2010, dan is het toch wel Leeland. Die gasten zijn gewoon down to earth en de band maakt een diepe indruk op mij tijdens hun persconferentie. Ik hoor je al zeggen...christelijke muziek?! Kwalitatief?! ZEKER WETEN. De talrijke christelijke cd's zijn een levend bewijs. En de invloed van goede muziek in je leven onderschat ik niet. Vandaar dat ik de nieuwe cd kocht van Leeland, the Great Awakening (het grote ontwakenen). En hoeveel spijt heb ik hiervan? Eeeuh, 0,000%. Een echte aanrader. Ik wil even stilstaan bij één van de prachtige liederen op hun cd "Pages". Het gaat over de pagina's van je levensboek. Hoe zien deze eruit? Een confronterend lied maar tegelijkertijd een oproep, in Zijn genade.
Ps: "Pages" is een lied dat je snoeihard in je wagen kan opzetten!
